Data Privacy

Paarvedan Foundation is committed to protecting the privacy and security of personal data of our beneficiaries, donors, volunteers, employees, and partners. This policy outlines our practices regarding data collection, use, and protection — in full compliance with Indian data protection laws.

Key Commitments:
  • Lawful Basis: We collect only data necessary for our charitable mission, with explicit consent.
  • Minimization & Retention: Data is kept only as long as needed and is anonymized where possible.
  • Security: Industry-standard encryption and access controls protect all digital records.
  • Rights: Individuals may request access, correction, or deletion of their data.
  • No Selling: We never sell or rent personal data to third parties.

IT Usage

This policy governs the use of Paarvedan Foundation's information technology resources, including computers, networks, email, internet, and software. It applies to all staff, volunteers, and partners accessing our systems.

Core Principles:
  • Authorized Use: Resources are for foundation purposes; limited personal use is permitted.
  • Security & Passwords: Strong, unique passwords required; two-factor authentication for sensitive systems.
  • Prohibited Activities: No unauthorized access, illegal downloads, harassment, or violation of intellectual property.
  • Monitoring: Systems may be monitored to ensure compliance and security.
  • Data Backup: Critical data must be stored on approved cloud services with automatic backup.

Anti-Bribery &
Anti-Corruption

Whistleblower Helpline

Paarvedan Foundation has a zero-tolerance policy towards bribery and corruption. We are committed to conducting our work with integrity, transparency, and in compliance with all applicable laws, including the Prevention of Corruption Act in India.

Policy Highlights:
  • Absolute Prohibition: No bribes, kickbacks, or improper payments — directly or indirectly.
  • Gifts & Hospitality: Only reasonable, proportionate, and transparent gestures; never to influence decisions.
  • Third Parties: Partners and vendors must adhere to equivalent standards.
  • Whistleblower Protection: Confidential reporting without fear of retaliation.

Social Media

This policy guides official and personal use of social media in relation to Paarvedan Foundation. We harness social platforms to amplify our mission while safeguarding our reputation and respecting individuals.

Guidelines:
  • Official Accounts: Managed by communications team; content must be accurate, respectful, and mission-aligned.
  • Personal Accounts: Staff/volunteers must identify views as personal; maintain confidentiality; avoid harassment.
  • Beneficiary Privacy: Photos/stories require informed consent; never share identifying details without permission.
  • Engagement: Respond professionally; do not engage in arguments; report inappropriate content.

Environment &
Sustainability

Aligned with our commitment to Climate Action (SDG 13) and Life on Land (SDG 15), Paarvedan Foundation strives to minimize our environmental footprint and promote sustainable practices in our operations and programs.

Our Commitments:
  • Reduce & Recycle: Minimize single-use plastics; mandatory waste segregation at all offices.
  • Energy Efficiency: Use LED lighting, energy-efficient appliances; aim for 30% renewable energy by 2028.
  • Green Procurement: Prioritize eco-friendly, local, and sustainable supplies.
  • Awareness: Integrate environmental education in all community programs.
  • Tree Plantation: Annual commitment — 5,000 saplings per year across project locations.
